Mike's First Father's Day

Today we got to celebrate with Mike for Father's Day. Mayson and I got him a round of golf at two courses that he has been wanting to play. It was going to be super hard to top his Mother's Day gift to me so we just went with what we know he likes. Mayson is such a lucky little guy to have such an amazing Daddy. We are so blessed that Mike has been able to stay home with Mayson.

Mayson is Crawling

Mayson is now a crawler. Here is a video of his version of crawling.

7 Months Old

Mayson was 7 months old on Sunday. He is getting so big and it has been the most amazing 7 months for our family.



Mayson's 7 Month Milestones
- Mayson weighs 19 pounds 2 ounces and is almost 28 inches long. He is in the 50th to 75th percentile for both height and weight.
- Mayson is still wearing his 6 month jammies, but is into mostly 6 to 9 month clothes.
- He is wearing a size 3 diaper and seems to finally be slowing down on going through so many a day.
- He is able to sit unsupported and is able to sit back up when he gets down on his back or belly.
-Mayson is officially a crawler. After crawling backwards and scooting he is now crawling and is wearing Mommy and Daddy out.
- We are still making his baby food. While we were in Carmi he got to try a few things from the table. He had a few small bites of a breadstick from DiMaggio's. I wanted him to understand how amazing it was :) He loved the breadstick just like I thought he would.
- Have only heard mama a few times since the first time he said it. Still no dada, but that is not from the lack of Mike trying to get him to say it.

Just the Boys

While we were home Mayson got to spend time with his cousins, Gabe and Adam. It was fun to watch the boys play. Gabe was so good with both of the little ones. When Mayson got fussy he was right there to try to cheer him up. He has two great cousins.

Weddings

While we were home we attended a few weddings. It was so hot and Mayson was not enjoying his time while he was all dressed up. Here are a few pictures that were taken by Aunt Sarah.

Mayson's First Wings

Mayson and I flew back to Illinois this past weekend to attend Denton and Alex Aud's wedding and my dad and Debbie's wedding. It was a very short trip packed full of family and friends. It was so great to see everyone. Mayson was such a good boy on the plane. Here are a few pictures of his first airplane ride.

New Baseball Hat

I just thought this picture was too cute not to post for everyone to see. Mayson got a new hat and he just loves it.

Loving the Pool

Mike, Mayson, and I went over to our friend Sean's parents house to grill out and swim. Mayson loved the pool. He was so calm and relaxed in the water.



Mommy and Mayson hung out in the shaded part of the pool. Mommy's skin is as pale as Mayson's.


He thought he was such a big boy in his floating toy.

Trying to Crawl

Mayson is trying really hard to start crawling. He has been rolling all over the place and scooting to get want he wants. Just the last couple of days he has started getting up on all fours trying to go. Here are a few pictures of him trying to crawl.

Big Boy Bath

I gave up trying to give Mayson a bath in his tub in the sink last week. He can reach the faucet now and just is not safe anymore. I tried putting his tub in our big tub and it was just a pain. After searching for a bath ring, still yet to find one, I just put him in the tub by himself and made sure I was holding on to him. He loved it. Here are a few pictures that he will love to know that I showed everyone when he gets older.

Mayson's New Stroller for Mommy

I found a great deal on a Jeep stroller awhile back that is basically a jogging stroller. I am trying to get back into shape and with the help of Mayson, Mike and Sadie, I hope I can get there. Mayson loves being able to sit up and go for a jog with Mommy, Daddy and Sadie. He was just loving the stroller, here are some before walk pictures, and after walk pictures.

My Two Babies

Sadie is adjusting and learning to play with Mayson carefully. She will lay there and let him pull and tug on her. Mayson will let her play with him too. He really likes when she gives him kisses and loves to watch her play with her toys. He managed to scoot over and try play with one of her toys the other day.

Grocery Shopping with Mayson

I am not a real fan of grocery shopping, but it must be done. Mayson got to try out the new shopping cart cover I made for him and sit up like a big boy. He loved being able to see everything in the store and everyone. I think really he just like to flirt and listen to people tell him how cute he is. :)

Weekend with Mommy!

Mike went to Florida a few weekends ago for his friend Josh's wedding. So I took off Monday and we had a three day weekend together. It was so great to be home with Mayson a for an extra day. He is starting to really enjoy playing on the floor with his toys and his play gym. He gets a little crazy sometimes.

Mayson Loves Food

Mayson has been eating solids now for awhile. I have been making his food and so far he has loved everything we have let him try. He has had applesauce, peaches, bananas, pears, carrots, squash, sweet potatoes, and now Cheerios. Here are a few shots of him eating some of the different foods.
