July 2011

July 2011
Mike and I tied the knot on July 30th. We had a beautiful outdoor wedding at the Discovery Lodge in Evansville, IN. We were able to head home for a week or so before the wedding to spend time with our family and friends and get a few last minute things wrapped up before the big day. On the way home we made a few stops and enjoyed some family time before the crazy wedding weekend. We stopped in Denver, Colorado, one of our favorite cities. We planned on hitting up the zoo, but it was soo hot, so we skipped the zoo and got on stub hub. The Rockies were playing the Braves, which is Mike's favorite baseball team. It was so awesome to be able to take Mayson to his first baseball game and for him to see his Daddy's favorite team.

First baseball game.

Boo the Braves lost.
While we ere home family and friends really helped out with watching Mayson and helping with all the DIY projects that I had planned. We had a few little hiccups which I think happens with all weddings. The air went out at the rehearsal dinner, which made it very very hot, but the food was so amazing that it made it some what bearable. The night before the wedding, as we were trying to get Mayson ready for bed, he fell and hit his head. I thought he was going to the ER, and of course my emotions were so crazy I freaked. He had a HUGE bump, but thankfully his hair was long enough to cover the damage. The day of the wedding went pretty smooth. We had a rain storm come through about 1 hour before the wedding, it's good luck to have rain on your wedding day though right. With the rain we weren't able to finish all of the pictures, but Laura did such an amazing job with all the rest it was totally fine.

My two favorite guys all dressed up. They had matching suits and even matching ties.

Love this!

These are a few from Mike and I seeing each other for the first time.

We headed out to Bosse Field for some pictures. Mike and some of his groomsmen were college baseball teammates.

Catching Up!

So much has happened over the last 6 months for the Aslinger family, and as you can tell I have not been blogging. I am going to try to review the last few months.
