I am little behind on posting on Makynzie's 3 month milestones.
• Makynzie weighs right around 13 pounds, which 50-75th percentile for weight.
• She is still wearing 3 month clothes but will be moving into the next size up shortly.
• We are still using size 1, but will be buying size 2 on our next diaper purchase.
• She is still nursing but has taken a few bottle here and there to get her ready for when momma goes back to work in a few weeks.
• Makynzie is an amazing sleeper. She goes to bed around 9 and wakes up around 6:30 or 7. Thank goodness!
• She is smiling, cooing and giggling which makes us all smile.
We are so blessed to have such an amazing little girl.

Visiting with Friends Part 2
Second stop Bloomington, Illinois.
The Mounce's
Mike and I are hoping to move back to the midwest soon and have began thinking of areas. Bloomington is among our top choices. What better way to check out a town by spending time with friends. Mike enjoyed golfing with Byrd a few times while the kids and I did some shopping and hung out with Sara and the girls. We even went to State Farm pool, which was awesome! Makynzie got to wear her swimsuit for the first time. No pictures of Mayson because he was too busy playing in the water. Mayson slept with Mommy while dad enjoyed the couch as you can tell Daddy had the better sleeping arrangements.

Visiting with Friends Part 1
It was so nice to take so time out of our trip and stay with some friends.
The Lamb's
Our first stop was in Columbia, Missouri to see the Lamb's. While they were working we did a little playing and shopping. We took Mayson to a place called Bonkers. It is a huge indoor play gym equipped with climbing and slides. We even ran into NASCAR driver Carl Edwards. Makynzie got attention from the girls and Grayson even got to hold her. A trip isn't complete without Mayson hitting his head and this one was a good one. He tripped and hit his head on the bed frame.

Driving East Across the USA!
We left at 11:30 pm on July 16th to head back to Illinois for our annual summer visit. Oh what a drive! Two adults, two kiddos, one dog, and a truck full! This was Makynzie's first major car ride and she was awesome!
First stop Denver, Colorado. We pulled into Denver and we were ALL ready to be out of the car. Mike and I thought driving through the night would be a good idea, we were wrong! I was so sick from all the turning around to entertain two kids and driving through the mountains. Mike and I were both so tired after being up for over 24 hours. We had big plans to visit the zoo, but we had I cancel. We all just slept, it was great!
Wednesday was quite the traveling day. Makynzie blew out her diaper all in her carseat. Then Mayson threw up just hours before our destination.
Up and at em early to head to Columbia!

Mayson and Daddy day
I wasn't feel too well last week and all you parents out there know that being sick with two little ones just plain sucks. Mayson wants mommy to do everything for him even if daddy is standing right there and Makynzie has to eat every three hours or so, so resting isn't easy. Mike had to work but came home early because he couldn't get ahold of me, phone was in the other room and I was trying to get Mayson to rest with me, which was a long shot. So he came home worried about me. Knowing I wasn't going to be able to sleep if Mayson was there Mike took he took him out for the afternoon. Chuck E Cheese and a new experience BOWLING! Mayson loved it! Here are a few pictures of his skills to get his high score of a 91! He even for a strike! I think Mike was more excited than Mayson was.
Mayson and Makynzie
Every once in a while Mayson really loves his baby sister. Just recently he started becoming very concerned when she gets upset. He will tell her it's okay sissy and says sissy is mad! He enjoys holding her for about two seconds, enough for me to get a few pictures.

Summer To Do List!
In no particular order because come on we all know I have ADD and I will start number 1 and then jump to number 11.
1. Organize the whole house, and when I say organize I mean throw stuff away and give everything a home. My typical organization usually consists of just straightening up my junk.
2. Purchase and paint an armoire to match the dresser in Makynzie's room.
3. Print and frame pictures for Makynzie's room.
4. Make crib skirt and quilt for Makynzie's room.
5. Purchase and hang baseball accessories for Mayson's room.
6. Find a baseball type chair for Mayson's room.
7. Pamper myself one day. Someday just getting a shower may feel like. I accomplished this, but I mean like get a pedicure or something fun like that.
8. Refinish hall bath cabinets.
9. Refinished master bath cabinets.
10. Frame out the mirrors in both bathrooms.
11. If the bathrooms turn out good refinish kitchen cabinets.
12. Purchase a new kitchen table since I sold mine.
13. Purchase a craft cabinet.
14. Once purchased organize all my craft supplies.
15. LOSE BABY WEIGHT!
16. Craft, make bows, actually complete a pinterest projects.
17. Print pictures and put in albums and frames.
18. Paint laundry room and hang frames.
19. Find a chair for our bedroom.
20. Spend some alone time with my husband. (Never enough to mark this off ;))
21. Hang up prints that we have had for months.
22. Play dates for Mayson.
23. Take trip to Illinois.
Okay now that I have mapped out my summer and have set myself up for disappointment. My goal is to be able to cross off half. Hopefully it can be done.
