8 Months Old

Mayson is 8 months old, I can't believe it. It is amazing how much he has changed over the last month.
8 Month Milestones
- Mayson weighs a little over 20 pounds and is a little over 27 inches long. He is in the 25th to 50th percentile for both.
- Mayson is wearing 6 to 9 month clothes and getting ready to move into a size 4 diaper.
- He is able to say mama and dada, and then "talks" when he is playing and when he wakes up in the morning.
- He is totally mobile now. He is crawling, pulling up on everything and cruising along what he pulls up on.
- I am still making his baby food and he still has not had anything he does not like. He gets excited for every bite. He enjoys the fruit and cheese puffs. He needs us to feed them to him but he is learning how to grab them on his own.
- He is starting to use a sippy cup to have water when we are outside since it is so hot.
- He still is waking up in the middle of the night once sometimes twice. Mommy is ready for him to get back to sleeping through the night.
- Some of his favorite toys are his soft books, his telephone, and his blocks. His all time favorite toy I think is anything that belongs to Sadie. He likes to try to play tug of war with Sadie and her toys.
- Mayson has turned into quiet the funny little guy. His laugh is the best sound ever. He laughs at Sadie when she is playing, and really gets to laughing when we chase Sadie around.
